Manage Invoice > Edit > amend the information as required. Save > click the invoice > Record Payment > enter the payment details again > Save. Enter any additional payments > click back on your browser menu bar.
Click the organisation name, select Settings, then click Invoice settings. Find the theme you want to update. Click Options, then select Edit. In the Name field, update the name.
All you would need to do is go into the History, click on the details for the sent Invoice, and then click on "Edit." Optionally, you can go to the Request Money page, click on the number for the invoice, and then select Edit.
Cancel an invoice if you no longer need it, or created it in error. The invoice is removed from Practice Manager, but remains in the audit history of the job. Time and costs on the cancelled invoice can be invoiced again. Depending on the status of the invoice, select the Draft, Awaiting Payment, or Overdue tab.
Find the invoice that you want to write off. Click Invoice Options, then select Add Credit Note. In the Account field, select your Bad Debts account, or select + Add new account... to add a new account to your chart of accounts. Ensure the date, tax rate and credited amount are correct.
Once an invoice has been raised it is considered a legal document and cannot be altered. If it is discovered that an invoice is incorrect, the procedure is to request that a credit note be raised for the same amount as the incorrect invoice and then requesting that a new corrected invoice be raised.
It's not illegal, per se, to amend an invoice that you've raised, but it is covering your back as it could invite litigation if you amend your own version of it without cancelling the original version - in particular if the customer has actually paid against the original.
Revised invoice may be issued by a taxable person in relation to any invoice already issued by him. Supplementary tax invoice has to be issued by a taxable person in case where any deficiency is found in a tax invoice already issued by a taxable person.
In and of itself, an invoice is not a legally binding agreement. If an invoice on its own was a legally binding document, then vendors could create bogus invoices and then force their clients to pay them. ... Once both sides agree to an invoice, it then becomes a legal debt and an agreement.
Most companies don't realise that they are entitled to chase invoices that go back as far as 6 years. It is important to remember that the time limit starts from when your customer last acknowledged owing the debt or made a payment on account against the invoice, not from when the invoice became due.
