It works, almost a must have thing. But not everything is perfect, there are some limited options. But you will never get it perfect because it is not an original document.

How do I get a refund on my extended car warranty?
Submit the required paperwork to the dealership or warranty company. If you have not heard from the warranty company or the dealership within two weeks, call and ask for an update. You should expect a refund to take four weeks or more from the date you submitted the paperwork.

On the contract, it says, if you cancel within 60 days, you get 100% refund. After 60 days or if you have incurred a claim, a pro rata refund of the lesser unused months or unused miles will be made.
