I'm using the basic version which obviously has some limitations but it's good for the tasks I have in hand

definitely easy to use. however some date fields do not have the "calendar" option, so you are forced to manually enter the date. That could be made easier.

How do I edit a DOCX file?
If you need to edit or modify the document, you will need to use OpenOffice. DOCX Word Documents are different from the DOC version in that they use the Microsoft Office Open XML format. The Open XML format makes it easy for other programs, such as Apache OpenOffice, to read DOCX files (and other Open XML file types).
How do I edit a Word document in an email?
Click on the File menu, then select Options. Select Customize Ribbon and then use the drop list to choose Commands not in the ribbon. Find the Edit Message tool and copy it over to a custom group in the right-hand panel. The Edit Message option should now appear in the message menu bar when there is an attachment.

Stop, recall, or edit sent emails. Unfortunately it's not possible to stop or recall a scent email after it has left our servers. Similarly, content or subject lines can't be changed after an email has been sent.
