Ryan was beyond patient with me to solve my issue. I really felt like he was determined to have me understand the instructions he was giving me towards the solution. He used a few of approaches. How do I change security settings on a PDF for free?
Open the PDF file.
Go to the Tools pane.
Select Protection.
Choose To encrypt.
Select Encrypt with Password.
A new window will appear containing all the settings that can be switched on and off.
Select the settings you want to modify, for example:
When finished changing the settings, click OK.
Why is my PDF file secured?
