I don't like that you have to hard return on open spaces or the text goes off the page. I don't like how there is not any guidance on the cursor in pre-developed forms-there should at least be a grid view option. I do like how clean it looks and intuitive it is to use.

How does a HAP contract work?
This is a HAP contract between the PHA and the owner. The family will reside in the contract unit with assistance under the Section 8 voucher program. The housing assistance payments by the PHA assist the tenant to lease the contract unit from the owner for occupancy by the family.
How can I get out of my HAP contract?
The HAP contract may be terminated by IFA. Under some circumstances the contract automatically terminates. The family may terminate the lease without cause upon proper notice to the owner and to IFA after the initial lease term. The length of the notice that is required is stated in the lease (generally 30 days).
How do I cancel my Hap account?
Ending a HAP tenancy You will need to contact your local authority if you are thinking of moving. If a tenant or a landlord wishes to end a residential tenancy, they must comply with the relevant legislation.
How can I cancel my Section 8 contract?
Key Requirements In order to terminate tenancy, the tenant must provide the owner with a written 30-day notice to vacate the unit, as required by the HUD lease. NOTE: The regulations for RHS Section 515/8 properties permit either the tenant or the owner to terminate the lease with a 30-day written notice.
What is HAP abatement?
A: An abatement is the suspension of Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) payments to the landlord because the landlord did not correct owner responsible deficiencies within the allowable timeframe.
Can you work full time and get hap?
HAP allows you to work full-time, while still receiving housing support. You can, if you want, avail of other social housing supports and options through your local authority's transfer list. Local authorities will be the single point of contact for all social housing supports.

Many people on long-term Rent Supplement are being transferred to the Housing Assistance Payment (HAP). You can work full-time and continue to receive HAP. If your spouse, civil partner or cohabitant gets full-time work, your household is no longer eligible for Rent Supplement. You can work full-time and get HAP.
How is hap contribution calculated?
This 'rent contribution' is based on your household income. It is calculated in the same way as the rent paid by a tenant of a local authority owned property. Under HAP legislation, limits for HAP payments are based on the number of people in a household and the rental market in the locality.
