Open the Secured PDF. Launch PDF element on your computer. Edit Protected PDF. Click the “Edit” > “Edit Text or Image” button, then you can start to edit the content or insert new text and change font size, color, and more.
On the Protect tab, in the Certify Document group, click Certify. On the Certify Profile Wizard, choose the actions you want to permit from the Permitted actions list. Click Next. Select a digital ID to certify with, and choose whether to make the certificate visible. Click Next.
A Certified PDF is a regular PDF, with a few bits of extra information: It contains information about the preflight profile that was used to check the file. It contains logging information that tells you if the preflight was successful and if any errors or notifications were generated.
