Select the worksheet you want to check for errors. If the worksheet is manually calculated, press F9 to recalculate. If the Error Checking dialog is not displayed, then click on the Formulas tab > Formula Auditing > Error Checking button.
If the formula doesn't display the value, follow these steps: Make sure that the Excel is set to show formulas in your spreadsheet. To do this, click the Formulas tab, and in the Formula Auditing group, click Show Formulas. Tip: You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + (the key above the Tab key).
