Can you reopen a closed year in Sage 50?
There is no way to reopen a closed year.
How do I go back to previous year on Sage?
Sage 50 allows you to post transactions to the current fiscal year and one prior fiscal year. When posting to the prior year, you can't change the session date, but you can change the date of a transaction as far back as the first day of the previous fiscal year, and post the entry.
How do you reopen a closed period in Sage 100?
Select General Ledger Setup menu > GL Options. On the Main tab, in the Current Fiscal Year field, select the past fiscal year to reopen. In the Current Period field, select the accounting period to post to and click Accept.
How do I post prior year adjustments in Sage 50?
From the Maintain menu, select Chart of Accounts. Select the Beginning Balances button to enter prior-period adjustments. Select the accounting period in which you want to enter or adjust balances. Select OK. Click or tab to any of the white cells in the grid to change or add an amount. Select OK when you are finished.
