Add Number Fields in Medical Forms
Users trust to manage documents on pdfFiller platform
pdfFiller makes it easy to create and fill out or modify various types of documents while preserving their original layout. This is made possible with the help of pdfFiller’s advanced “Fillable Fields” feature. To place the necessary data into the document, open the document in the editor and press “Add Fillable Fields”. You can create specially designated areas where a prescribed type of data must be inputted, including text, date, signature, number, image and checkbox.
To add a number field, click the Number icon and then click where you want to place the field.
You can move the field around by clicking and dragging it, resize it by dragging the dots around the edges, and delete the field by clicking the trash can icon. By pressing the “Order” button on the right, you can define the order in which the number fields must be filled out.
Click on the number of the field and switch it with others by dragging and dropping it. Having assigned the order, you can return to the “Fields” tab and customize the already inserted fields: Add text to help, which will further be shown in a navigation note after you save the changes; Check the box “Required field” if it is mandatory that a user complete this section; Enter “Default number” if necessary and lock if you don’t want the recipients to edit this field; Add a note to serve as a hint; Specify the maximum number of characters; Change the Database Field name; Press “Save” to save all your work on fillable number fields. Now you and the recipient of the document are able to fill out the number fields following the hints you create and in the order you have defined. The significant benefits is that having defined a field as a number field, you’ve enabled the recipient to enter characters using only numeric keys, and ensure that all important fields will be completed.
