This is a tool which I never thought I would use so much! I love it! I think the dashboard is cluttered and not the easiest to navigate, and a "strike through" option for documents would be nice to have.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Enter “=(C2-B2)/B2" in cell D2 to calculate the straight-line decline percentage. Type “=POWER(C2/B2,1/(C1-B1))-1" into cell E2 to calculate the annualized sales decline.
You subtract the current year's number from last year's number, then divide that result by last year's number and multiply by 100. If it's negative, then this result is the percentage that metric declined for the year. A positive number is an increase.
Subtract the first period sales figures from the second period. This will give you the value of the change. If the second period sales were less, you will get a negative number indicating the decrease. Divide the difference by the first period's gross sales.
Subtract starting value minus final value. Divide that amount by the absolute value of the starting value. Multiply by 100 to get percent decrease. If the percentage is negative, it means there was an increase and not a decrease.

There are three main types of calculations you can use to create calculated fields in Tableau: Basic calculations — Basic calculations allow you to transform values or members at the data source level of detail (a row-level calculation) or at the visualization level of detail (an aggregate calculation).
In Tableau, select Analysis > Create Calculated Field. In the Calculation Editor that opens, do the following: Enter a name for the calculated field. When finished, click OK. The new calculated field is added to Measures in the Data pane because it returns a number.
Bring your dimension(s) into the view, whatever it is you want to break your measure down by. Bring Measure Names to the Filters shelf and choose the single measure you want to include in your view: Next, take Measure Values and bring it onto Text on the Marks card:
According to Tableau's Knowledge Base, a measure is a field that is a dependent variable; that is, its value is a function of one or more dimensions. Tableau treats any field containing numeric (quantitative) information as a measure.
