No child may be vaccinated within 3 months of the previous dose. Any child under the age of 12 will require two vaccines. For a child below the age of 1 year, one vaccine is required. The second dose is only necessary for children under 18. For a child older than 18 years, one dose of DTP is also required. Immunizations required for a child of any age: Pertussis, DTP (Tap), IPA, His, Tetanus, Pertussis/Tetanus/Diphtheria, Poliomyelitis and Hemophilia Influenza (His) (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella) (Polio and Hepatitis B) Diphtheria, Tetanus Toxic and Diphtheria/Tetanus/Diphtheria (Tap + IPA) (Hepatitis B) Hepatitis A Meningococcal Disease Mumps Mumps VACCINES FOR FUTURE GRANTS/COUNTS The requirements of this section also apply to the following vaccines, provided that the child who receives them does not have an exemption under California immunization requirements: Pneumococcal conjugate vaccines Vaccines for meningococcal disease (Men) Polio (PPDV-IPV (II)) Pneumococcal conjugate vaccines, Men and PPDV-IPV-II, will be given regardless of age; and children under 18 are exempt. For a child below 6 years of age, one dose is required. For a child between 6 (1-0-0) and 19 years of age, two doses of PPDV-IPV, Poliovirus vaccine (PPSV-II), or Tap vaccine are required. For a child above 19 years of age, two doses of PPDV-IPV, Poliovirus vaccine, or Tap vaccine are required.
