How to fill out used oil and oil

Illustration

How to fill out used oil and oil:

01
Start by placing a clean and empty container under the oil drain plug of the vehicle.
02
Use a wrench or socket to loosen the drain plug and allow the used oil to drain completely into the container. Make sure to wear gloves and protect yourself from spills.
03
Once all the used oil has drained, securely tighten the drain plug back into place.
04
Move on to the oil filter. Use an oil filter wrench to loosen the filter and carefully remove it. Be cautious as some residual oil may still be inside the filter.
05
Before installing the new oil filter, lightly coat the rubber gasket on the filter with fresh oil to ensure a proper seal.
06
Screw on the new oil filter by hand until it is snug and then tighten it an additional 3/4 to 1 full turn.
07
Now, it's time to add fresh oil. Refer to the vehicle's owner manual to determine the correct type and amount of oil needed.
08
Remove the oil cap from the engine and pour the fresh oil into the filler hole. Use a funnel if necessary to avoid spills.
09
Once you have added the appropriate amount of oil, replace the oil cap and securely tighten it.
10
Finally, check the oil level using the dipstick and adjust if necessary by either adding more oil or draining a small amount. Remember to dispose of the used oil properly at a recycling center or an auto parts store.
