Newly admitted summer & fall undergraduate students who submit their Residential Life housing application, license and reservation fee by June 1 are guaranteed UMBC Residential Life housing (not Walker Avenue Apartments).
Student Housing is generally defined as a multifamily property with a significant student tenant concentration.
Students must pay a $200 housing reservation fee in order to be assigned to housing; this is not the same as the Admissions/Enrollment or Orientation Deposit.
A non-refundable $100 matriculation fee will be charged to all undergraduate, degree-seeking students, in their first semester at UMBC.
