The following guidelines are intended to assist you in completing the preliminary requirements at Simmons College.
All non-degree students must complete the following components of the GPA, which can be completed at any time, before they can be given a grade. (NOTE: All non-degree students who have had at least one session in a major department/college at Simmons College must also have completed a major department/college course, with GPA or MCAT scores).
1. Minimum GPA: 3.00 (4.00 if pursuing a combined major)
2. Generalized Test: If you are required to take this test, take only one test (if necessary) and keep a record of the date and place of the test taken (if a retake will be necessary). The MCAT test must be taken prior to taking the core courses.
