The International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) is an annual physics competition for high school students. It is one of the International Science Olympiads. The first IPhO was held in Warsaw, Poland in 1967.

Students may take both F=ma A & B exams, but they must meet or exceed the cutoff score for both exams to move on to the USAPhO exam. There is no benefit for students to take both exams.

The cutoff score to qualify for the Semi-finals is 15.5 on the F=ma exam, teachers will receive an email with a link to view their students scores. The Semi-final exam will be emailed to teachers by March 2nd, the dates for the exam to be given are March 5-23, 2012.
