Only one attempt may be made to answer any question during a limited open note examination. If you answer incorrectly, a second attempt will be made at the rate of two attempts per day with a ten-minute cooling-off period before re-taking the examination.
3. This examination may not be repeated on the same day. This examination is intended for students on the Fall Semester Course Schedule.
4. Questions should be worded in such a manner that you may recall them during and after the examination as to make the test more efficient.
5. In preparing for this examination, you must be aware of the following:
(a) When you come to sit for the examination, you must bring all pertinent papers, materials and documentation with you that will be needed for the testing.
(b) No attempt to ask any question may be made during the timed examination without being given a written test.
6. Time limit: 1 minute for each correct answer.
7. The test is scored by a team of two graduate students: the first student takes each question, and the second student is to take notes. The test scores are then calculated, and you will receive a grade at the end of the exam.
8. Questions not answered at the end of the examination will be considered as a “no answer”, even if you can answer the question at the time of taking the test.
9. You may obtain a letter grade only by taking at least two attempts to get a score of 60% or above. Any attempt at getting a letter grade over 65% that fails will result in failing the exam (allowing you to retake it for a second try).
