MBC's employees are to be able to work in a manner which contributes to the goals of both State of Illinois and MBC of providing the employees working at home or at a satellite office the flexibility necessary to perform their duties at their own pace. DURATION: Employees must be eligible for a telework program of which the agency's policy is a part, or the agency must develop its own policy requiring this, prior to the end of the fiscal year; or (ii) if a telework program of which the agency's policy is a part, is being implemented for the fiscal year and there is not a policy, but such policy is in place for the following two fiscal years, an employee must be eligible for a telework program of which the agency's policy is a part through the end of that fiscal year; or (iii) if a telework program of which the agency's policy is a part is being implemented for the fiscal year and there is a written policy requiring employees to work at a Satellite Office, employees must be eligible for a telework program which permits them to work at a Satellite Office through the end of the fiscal year. Agency shall use the most recent published state government budget as the starting date until the first fiscal year the program will be implemented. II. CATEGORIES OF AFFECTED WORKING HOURS: The following lists of work time can be used by MBC employees to determine if a telework or telecommuting policy would be implemented for an individual employee. (1). Telework and Telecommuting: The following categories of telework and telecommuting policies apply to these employees: (i) a satellite office or Teleworks for the purposes of this policy is a place where employees take turns working and the employer has provided a schedule of scheduled working hours. The telework program is either (a) a schedule which includes up to nine hours of weekly telework for employees at or below 75 percent Federal pay grade, or (b) a schedule which includes one hour of weekly telework for employees at or below 75 percent of the Federal pay grade. (ii) an employee must be eligible for a telework program of which the agency's policy is a part.
