The Law Society will not honor an application for an occasional practice permit for any reason other than this application. If you do not apply by June 30 of each year for the first three years you are granted a permit, you will not be eligible to work in Ontario, except for the purposes of representing clients, and you will have to reapply each year until you're granted a permit.
