2.01 Applicability
2.01.01 Purpose
This Subdivision provides a framework to permit the subdividing of land into more than one land use. It has been modified to take into account the changes in the structure of British Columbia since the last revision of the Subdivision (B.C.'s Land Use Planning Act) Regulation in 1980.
3. Definitions
3.01 Definitions
In this Subdivision, the following definitions apply:
“Division” means the Division of Local Government and the Provincial Environment Minister's Office for B.C.
“Subdivision” means a subdivision under the Subdivision Land Use Development Amendment Act 1999.
“Subdivision authority” means the Subdivision Authority designated under B.C. Assessment Act. The Subdivision Authority is responsible for the approval of subdivision, subdivision authority review and review of subdivision proposals.
“Subdivision” means a subdivision under the Subdivision Land Use Development Amendment Act 1999.
“Transverse property line” means a line that extends parallel to a road or to property lines that have been constructed along the highway within the subdivision.
“Transverse property lines” means the road right-of-way lines that intersect the property line and the landlines that have been constructed along the highway within the subdivision.
3.01.01 The Division
3.01.01.01 The Division of Local Government and the Provincial Environment Minister's Office for B.C. has the authority to approve or disapprove subdivision subdivisions in the following cases:
(a) where the proposed subdivision involves significant changes to the land uses described in the notice of intention and where the required approvals are provided and the subdivision and changes are consistent with the requirements of the Subdivision Act, Chapter 5 of the Subdivision Planning Act and B.C. Assessment Act.
Subdivision subdivisions are approved when the required approvals are obtained and the proposed subdivision and changes are inconsistent with the requirements of the Subdivision Act, Chapter 5 of the Subdivision Planning Act and B.C. Assessment Act. Where the subdivision of the subdivision is approved, the property owner is informed of the subdivision and changes in the subdivision.
