The Billing Schedule
Let's take a look at our Billing Schedule to
see how a balanced spending plan works. First, we'll look at the basic
Amount to Budget. This shows the amount you will
pay the utility every month in total at our
preferred rate (in most zip codes). You can easily
calculate your Monthly Amount to Budget by multiplying
the Cost of the service in effect at that times by the Monthly
Amount to Budget, and then dividing that number by the
total number of months you have installed your gas
/electric/water meter.
The following is a schedule to help you choose whether we
will bill you more or less than this Amount by month. If
you are uncertain which approach will be best for your
needs, give us a call or click on the Contact Us button
at the lower left-hand side of this page.
Note Please note that the cost of your gas and electric bills
are subject to change depending on factors out our control including
the price of oil, the value of the dollar, and increases in fuel efficiency standards. If you have specific questions related to your specific situation, make sure that you review the terms and conditions included within each rate quote and contact your utility company to learn how your utility company calculates the Amount to Budget for your particular bill or service. If you have specific questions, please contact us at any time.
All our rates are based on monthly installments that begin on June 1st to
July 31st for gas & electric, and July 1st to the end of the year for water-supply. The Amount to Budget (also called your “Payment Schedule”) is how much you'll have to pay every month in total for the services in effect at the time of the last monthly installment. Once the Amount to Budget has been established for a billing cycle, we are obligated to bill you for the monthly amount shown on the meter by the Due Date. This bill must be paid to avoid the potential for billing penalties.
You must review your entire payment schedule each month so that you can make sure that you always have the Amount to Budget to avoid future penalties. If you do not pay your bill on or before the Due Date, we will withhold a portion of your electric/gas payments until your next due date. The Utility Billing Office can also contact you by phone if you need to make alternative arrangements for the utility billing.
