Students who have been found eligible to receive a student employment position must apply to the Student Employment Program using the form below and receive an appointment for a meeting with an advisor and/or the Director, Program Development and Support. A completed Hiring form must be submitted. Step 2. Interviewing. During your interview, it is important to: Answer questions for the recruiter or potential employer as clearly and accurately as possible. Answer any questions the hiring advisor wants to know.
If you do not have all the required documentation, complete them and turn in the original documentation or bring them to the meeting.
Be prepared to present proof for any job responsibilities or experiences the recruiter or potential employer may be interested in obtaining. Do not attempt to pass off responsibility for any information you may not have. (For example, you cannot pass off work experience or previous experience when it relates to past salary ranges.)
If you are interviewed and are not offered the position, then continue to pursue and submit another application. Step 3. Payment. Students who are still in employment must pay their tuition by the next Business Day. The date of payment will be indicated on the first check or on the application form. This date does not apply to dependent students (spouse, children, parents), or to international students who pay by check and include their I.D. The date of payment will be indicated on the student's credit card statement(s). Students who are still enrolled in school and do not receive a check by the first Business Day should contact the Business Office for help. Students who did not receive a check by the Business Day deadline must submit a check to the Student Employment Program within five (5) days. Check submission and return instructions are located online on the form.
