Please include your business name, address and street address on the back of your artwork for verification. All artwork will be held and judged by the artist until October 6th, 2010. Entrants should be aware that the deadline is for a single piece of artwork for which there is a qualifying standard set of conditions/criteria. Therefore, it is suggested that one piece of each category of artwork be submitted in order to be eligible for the prizes. A maximum of five entries per entry submission form is allowed in a single submission. It is advised that artists follow the submission guidelines, but the submission is a pure artist's choice that will not be influenced in any way in the choice of the artwork. Please submit a single entry. Submissions will be reviewed based on a standard set of criteria. A minimum of three pieces should be selected from each category. Only one winner per category will be selected. At the conclusion of the Competition, the final five finalists will be announced in September 2010. All submitted artworks will be held and judged by the artist until October 6th, 2010. Once a single piece of artwork is selected, it will be submitted to the Chilliwack Council Art Gallery for their final judgment. No payments or exchanges are permitted. The prize (1st — 6th place) is 1000 each in Chilliwack Provincial Heritage Money to the three winning artists. Entrants must be 18 or over at the time of the entry deadline. The artist must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the final submission. The artist may be a student, faculty member, or a student/teacher at the time of the final submission. Entries for the Chilliwack City Hall Christmas Card Contest must be submitted in 3 separate pieces. A single entry submission is not acceptable. All artworks will be held by the artist or his/her agent. The artists choice is final. The winner(s) will receive one (1) year supply of any Chilliwack City Hall Christmas Card(s) they may choose by October 6th, 2010. All winners must be approved by the Art Gallery. The winner(s) will be contacted through the Council Art Gallery by email and the address will be confirmed using the Art Gallery website email, or by call center staff. The deadline is Sunday, October 6, 2010. The artist/artist will not be notified until the card is mailed to the winner. Entries must be received by the deadline date or as soon as possible.
