. Satisfaction of the following guidelines outlined in NCAA Bylaws: NCAA Bylaws Section 2.11(c)(2): B. The following criteria shall be considered when determining the eligibility of any recipient for a student-athlete or coach related gift or any other donation or gift which may provide benefits to a student-athlete or coach. (a) The amount of the donation or gift in question must not exceed the greatest of five hundred (500) academic units or 200.00. This is an approximate amount based on the average cost for one academic unit in the United States, and it is included in the definition. (b) The aggregate value of such gifts made in any one calendar year shall not exceed five hundred (500) academic units or 200,000.00, except for a gift in support of a particular athletic program which is eligible for the maximum of five hundred (500) academic units or 200,000.00. © The donor is required to disclose to the institution the name, address, location and type of institution of the donor. (d) The donor shall not provide any value directly or indirectly that would provide any benefit to one of the following: (i) a student-athlete, (ii) a coach (whether full-time or part-time), (iii) one of the institution's donors or a prospective donor of one of the institution's boosters. (e) The donor may, subject to approval by the institution's governing authorities, waive any of the above criteria in making a student-athlete or coach related gift or a similar gift to one of the aforementioned individuals. If any recipient accepts a gift of 100 in support of the student-athlete on or after the start of a calendar year, then the institution of the recipient must approve the donation within ten (10) days of receipt. If any recipient does not have a sponsor within ninety (90) days of completion of the semester at which the donation is made, then the institution must not approve the donation. (f) Donations to be received by a student-athlete shall not be considered a contribution to the student-athlete's eligibility, except as provided in these rules or as provided in the provisions of this agreement to the extent any such money is designated as a contribution to the athletics department. (g) All donors must be eligible to be members of the donor's class.
