II If the application is signed, the document in paragraph B above is to be sent by the Expert to the Member State in question, and the Member State will transmit it, in turn, to the Commission. 5. In its information of application for reimbursement of expenses and conditions of reimbursement, the Commission will inform the applicant of the following: (a) the details of the financial contribution in respect of which the financial contribution will be reimbursed; (b) the conditions for reimbursement, such as: the amount of the financial contribution (for example, percentage of the sum of the relevant income); the amount of the expenditures (for example, the period of the grant to be reimbursed); the extent of the expenditure to be paid in the form of cash or in kind (for example, in the form of an additional grant); the financial result of the joint research carried out (in the form of a paper or a book); and the expected benefit; (c) the criteria which will be used to determine the type of reimbursement to which the application referred to in paragraph 5(a) shall be allocated according to point 3 within the scope of the joint research for which the application exists; and (d) the means of reimbursement of expenses and conditions of reimbursement which will be provided in the application referred to in paragraph 5(a)(i) (for example, the type of payment, the date of payment, the conditions regarding the use of funds, the conditions regarding re-reimbursement if necessary, the methods of transfer of these funds and the conditions regarding access to databases). Member States and EU institutions will be reimbursed for the amounts transferred to them, in accordance with the reimbursement rules, in accordance with which they transfer their own funds to the application by the Commission.
