Credit Advices are provided by financial institutions, such as banks, credit unions and financial institutions for use by credit card holders. It is a very important part of the customer's financial information. 2. Technical Definition A Credit Advice is the information that a credit institution provides in relation to a financial institution in relation to financial account or credit transaction. The form in which a Credit Advice is given may vary. However, they must still contain at least 3 points of information (i) the account number and account balance(s); (ii) the dates and amounts of transactions; (iii) the name and address of the financial institution/person who gave the credit; (iv) the total amount received; and (v) an account description, i.e. whether the account is a normal or a closed account within the organization. It must also contain the purpose of the credit and the amount of the credit. Note: In certain countries it may be possible to give a Credit Advice under certain circumstances, or after receiving a court order to do so. These circumstances are called Customer-initiated Credit Advice. Examples are, for example: A credit institution, based in Sweden or Denmark, provides a credit to a foreign person who is resident in any other European Union Member State and has an account with a Swedish institution who is in the credit institution's customer base. A credit institution provides a credit to a client who owes money to a Swedish bank which also has a customer base in any other European Union Member State. Any credit given to the credit institution (including the client) by the client's own bank, credit union, etc. 3. Requirements of a Credit Assistance A credit assistance must meet the following requirements: 1. A credit assistance must state the purpose of the credit; 2. Must state the name of the account holder; 3. May state the date of the credit assistance and the amount received; and 4. Must not disclose any relevant information, such as the name of the credit institution or the amount provided. 4. Credit Advice Content and Use Criteria In an attempt to be completely transparent and open about their lending operations, credit institutions, which may provide credit advice as part of their services, publish the information related to their lending activities on their websites. The terms and use of their credit advice is set out at specific periods and in detail. In the past, several financial institutions have tried to provide more detailed and detailed Credit Information in relation to their customer base.
