Using the validated information, the user can print a donor ID band and labels for the blood tubes which are sent for infectious disease result typing, HLA typing, or to be sent with the organ. When all the infectious disease results are back from the lab, the user may enter any additional results not included in Donor net, that they would like printed on the vessel label. Upon entry a second user would need to validate those either locally or remotely. After selecting the organs to be procured, the user can print labels for the documentation packets which will be sent with the organ. At this point the user is ready to move to the OR. Prior to moving, the user should switch from two inch labels to three inch labels. Once arriving in the OR, the user should scan the donor ID band to verify they are working on the correct donor. Prior to starting the case, the user could stage all the appropriate materials needed including the UFOs shipping labels the UFOs organ labels the vessel label and their blood packets. Once cross clamped, date and time is entered into the Transfer system, the user has the ability to print the labels for the shipping label and the organ label. After attaching these labels to the UFOs shipping label and the UFOs label, a second person would need to visually verify that the correct label has been placed on the shipping and organ labels. Once the organ is ready the user will scan shipping label one on the UFOs shipping label and the organ label and place the organ within the box. After receiving spleen and nodes the user will scan the spleen and nodes and the blood and place those directly into the box. Next they will scan the documentation packet and place that directly into the box.
