A list of parking spots shall be compiled by the United States and submitted to the Commission by February 15, 1992, for inclusion in its report. The United States has notified the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space and the Committee on the Dissemination of Scientific and Technical Information of the results of its inspection of all the points of impact contained in the lists of parking spots prepared by the United States under subparagraph 2(a) of Article XII of the Treaty and that notice has been published in the Federal Register. INSPECTION OF PARKING SPOTS (a) Inspection of Designations. The United States and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics will each maintain at all times a list of the parking places designated by the United States and submit a copy thereof to the Joint Committee on the Inspections of Military Installations and the United Nations Joint Precautions Commission. (b) Compliance and Inspection Reports. (1) The United States, upon request from the United Nations Joint Precautions Commission may submit to the United Nations inspectors a description of the inspection operations carried out at any particular parking spot in the United States during a particular inspection for purposes of preparing the report provided for at paragraph 2(a). The United States shall also submit a description of any significant deviations that may occur from the requirements of the Treaty's provisions as set forth in subparagraph 1(b) of that Article. (2) The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, upon request from the United Nations Joint Precautions Commission, shall also submit to the United Nations inspectors a description of the inspection operations carried out at any particular parking spot in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics during a particular inspection for purposes of preparing the report provided for at paragraph 2(a). (3) The Commission will make public the inspection reports submitted by the United States and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. All such records, including those of the United States and Union of Soviet Socialist Republics inspectors, and transcripts of the inspection reports and examinations undertaken by the United States and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics inspectors shall be made available upon request by the Commission or the UN Security Council. (4) The President of the United States may request that the United States, at his request, submit to the Commission a list of the locations at which the United States stores and stores weapons of mass destruction, weapons of mass destruction delivery systems, or chemical weapons.
