Career & College Promise (CCP) is North Carolina's dual enrollment program for high school students. This program allows eligible NC high school students to enroll in college classes at North Carolina community colleges and universities through their high school.

To be eligible for a College Transfer pathway, a high school junior or senior must meet one of the following conditions: Has an unweighted, cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher on high school courses OR. Demonstrates college readiness in English, reading and mathematics on an assessment (see table below)
CCP classes are also known as College Credit Plus classes. CCP classes are often offered by local colleges, like a community college. These classes count for both high school credit and college credit.
You should also have a 3.91 GPA or higher. If your GPA is lower than this, you need to compensate with a higher SAT/ACT score. For a school as selective as Carnegie Mellon, you'll also need to impress them with the rest of your application.
Students must have a 2.0 GPA or higher in courses tied to their program of study in order to graduate from Wake Tech.
