Students may use this form to apply for a waiver of the fee for up to two (2) credit hours above 18 credit hours.
Full-time first-year students, sophomores, and juniors have a maximum unit limit of 18 units, and students with senior standing (96 or more units completed) have a maximum unit limit of 20 units. All undergraduates must earn at least 128 credits in order to graduate. At least 60 credits must be earned in residence at Boston University, and you can transfer in a maximum of 68 credits. A maximum of 16 credits of “D” grades earned at Boston University can be applied toward the credits you need for your degree.
