Strong Recommendation Phrases Phrases like “exceptional problem-solving skills,” “demonstrated leadership,” and “consistently exceeded expectations” convey a strong endorsement. Be specific and avoid generic terms, as tailored phrases help paint a vivid picture of the individual's capabilities.
A strong recoomendation would include positive words about intelligence, attidude, leadership, creativity, and many other personalities. For example, the recommedation letter or phone call might describe the person as a top 2% student the recommendater has ever taught in high school or college.
Start your letter of recommendation with a greeting that acknowledges the letter's reader. Whenever possible, address them by name. When this isn't possible, use a formal, professional greeting like “To whom it may concern.”
Establish excitement for your strong recommendation in the first sentence. Stating that it is your pleasure to recommend Marcy Jones, for example, is a good way to kick things off.
