UTSA offers several distinct housing options that are available in either a residence hall or apartment style. Each housing option comes with plenty of space for storage, studying, sleeping and socializing.
As soon as you apply to UTSA, you will be able to apply to live on campus. Log in to the UTSA Housing Portal using your myUTSA ID (abc123) and passphrase. Select the application based on when you expect to live on campus. Complete the general application section to show interest in living on campus.
There is no waitlist deposit. The non-refundable $100 application fee will available to pay prior to signing the contract via the housing portal.
Because of high demand for on-campus housing, students are advised to apply early. You will need your myUTSA ID to apply. On-campus housing is not required for freshmen, but research shows that students living on-campus: are more satisfied with their living and college experience.
This includes common appliances such as crock/Instant pots, air fryers, rice cookers, toasters/toaster ovens, hot plates and all types of electric grills. Please see the Residence Hall Manual for the full list of banned kitchen appliances.
From traditional residence halls to apartment-style living, we offer multiple options to suit your needs. Alvarez Hall, Chaparral Village, Chisholm Hall, Guadalupe Hall and Laural Village are located on the UTSA Main Campus and are owned and operated by UTSA Housing and Residence Life.
