8. If comfortable and trained to do so, you can also provide rescue breaths. After 30 chest compressions, tilt the person's head back slightly, and lift the chin to open the airway. Pinch the person's nose shut and provide two breaths by making a complete seal over their mouth and blowing until you see their chest rise.
9. Continue to alternate between chest compressions and breaths in a ratio of 30:2 until help arrives or the person shows signs of regaining consciousness.
10. Dispose of any used materials properly and clean your hands thoroughly after performing CPR.
