To Whom It May Concern, I need to let you know that I jumped the gun on submitting my prior severely bad review. Knoll G ended up figuring out the issue and assisted greatly in resolving it. She had much more patience than I had as I had been trying to figure out where everything had been changed to from when I used your site the year before. After 4 hours of much frustration, Knoll G saved the day. I would like to ask for you to somewhat disregard my initial review. I only say somewhat because I feel that the site had such a huge change from last year's "easy to use" formatting. I never needed to use support help. That said, I would like to praise Knoll G. She never gave up even when I did. Huge THANK YOU for not giving up Knoll! You're great and I hope you get some sort of reward for going above and beyond. I would also like to add a technical note...I don't know how everything is viewed on the companies side, but it was very difficult to work with support in terms of the chat box. Every time Knoll G gave me a direction to go and I went (which means the screen changed), I would lose the chat box and had to wait for Knoll G to type and send me something before the box would reappear and then I could respond. It only added to my then current frustration so your site coders might want to look into that.

The Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest is a document used for the tracking and transportation of hazardous waste in the United States. It serves as a means to properly identify, classify, and manage hazardous waste during its journey from the generator to the disposal facility. The manifest contains information about the generator, transporter, and disposal facility, as well as details about the type and quantity of hazardous waste being transported. It includes a unique manifest tracking number, which allows the waste to be traced and monitored throughout the entire transportation process. The use of the Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest is mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and is required for any shipment of hazardous waste that meets certain criteria. This document helps ensure that hazardous waste is handled and disposed of in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
In the United States, anyone who generates, transports, or treats hazardous waste is required to file a uniform hazardous waste manifest. This includes industrial facilities, medical facilities, laboratories, and any other entity that produces, transports, or handles hazardous waste. The manifest is used to track the movement of hazardous waste from the generator to the final disposal site.
Filling out a uniform hazardous waste manifest involves several steps. Here is a general outline of the process: 1. Obtain the manifest: The first step is to obtain the uniform hazardous waste manifest form (EPA Form 8700-22). You can typically obtain this form from your state's environmental regulatory agency or download it from their website. 2. Section A: Generator Information: Fill out Section A of the manifest, providing detailed information about the generator of the hazardous waste. This includes the name and address of the generator, EPA ID number, and contact information. 3. Section B: Transporter Information: If you are transporting the hazardous waste, fill out Section B with the name, address, EPA ID number, and contact information of the transporter who will be responsible for transporting the waste. If you are using a third-party transporter, they will fill out this section. 4. Section C: Destination Facility Information: Fill out Section C with the information about the facility that will receive the hazardous waste. This includes the name, address, EPA ID number, and contact information of the destination facility. 5. Waste Codes: Next, specify the waste codes that identify the type of hazardous waste being transported. These codes are found in the "List of Waste Codes" provided by the EPA. Enter the appropriate codes in the designated area on the manifest. 6. Quantity and Units: Record the total quantity of hazardous waste being transported and the units of measurement (e.g., gallons, pounds). 7. Hazardous Waste Description: Provide a detailed description of the hazardous waste being transported. Include information about its physical and chemical characteristics, and any special handling requirements. 8. Container Information: Enter detailed information about the containers used to transport the hazardous waste, including the number of containers, type of container, and container size. 9. Certification and Signatures: The generator, transporter, and destination facility representatives must sign the manifest to certify the accuracy and completeness of the information provided. 10. Copies: Make copies of the completed manifest. The generator and each transporter should keep a copy, and the original must accompany the hazardous waste during transportation. 11. Submitting the Manifest: Ensure that the manifest is submitted according to the regulations of your state and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This may involve mailing the manifest to the appropriate regulatory agency or submitting it electronically. It's important to note that the specific requirements and regulations may vary depending on your location. Therefore, it's advisable to consult your state's environmental regulatory agency or a waste management professional for guidance specific to your situation.
The purpose of a Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest is to track the movement of hazardous waste from the point of generation to the point of disposal. Safety: The Manifest includes information about the hazardous characteristics of the waste, enabling handlers and emergency responders to take appropriate safety measures during transportation and in case of accidents or incidents. 4. Record-keeping: It provides a comprehensive record of hazardous waste generation, transportation, and disposal activities. This allows for better auditing and monitoring of waste management practices and helps identify any potential gaps or non-compliance. 5.
