How to fill out 1st aid cpr aed:

01
Start by gathering all the necessary materials, including an AED device, CPR mask, gloves, and any other relevant supplies.
02
Assess the situation and ensure that it is safe for you to approach the person who needs first aid. Call for help if necessary.
03
Check the person's responsiveness by gently shaking them and asking if they are okay. If they do not respond, you will need to begin CPR.
04
Position the person on their back on a firm surface, preferably the ground. Open their airway by tilting their head back and lifting their chin up.
05
Check for breathing by looking, listening, and feeling for any signs of normal breath. If the person is not breathing or only gasping, start CPR immediately.
06
Start chest compressions by placing the heel of your hand on the center of the person's chest, slightly above the lower half of their breastbone. Begin compressions at a rate of 100-120 per minute, allowing the chest to fully recoil between compressions.
07
After 30 chest compressions, provide two rescue breaths. Ensure a good seal over the person's mouth and nose with the CPR mask, and give breaths that last about one second each.
08
Continue the cycles of 30 chest compressions followed by two rescue breaths until help arrives or the person starts breathing on their own.
09
If an AED is available, turn it on and follow the prompts. Apply the electrode pads as indicated on the device and let the AED analyze the person's heart rhythm. If a shock is advised, make sure everyone is clear of the person before pressing the shock button.
10
Remember to stay calm and focused throughout the process, and provide updates to emergency responders when they arrive.
