How to fill out cprfirst aid

How to Fill Out CPR First Aid:

01
Begin by assessing the scene and ensuring your own safety before approaching the victim. Look out for any potential dangers that may put you at risk.
02
Check the victim's responsiveness by tapping their shoulder and asking if they are okay. If they do not respond, proceed to the next step.
03
Call for help or activate your local emergency response system immediately. Time is crucial in a medical emergency, so getting professional assistance as soon as possible is essential.
04
Open the airway by tilting the victim's head back and lifting their chin. This helps to clear any obstructions and ensure the airway is open for breathing.
05
Check for breathing by looking, listening, and feeling for any signs of breath. Place your ear close to the victim's mouth and nose, watch for chest movements, and feel for airflow with your hand.
06
Start chest compressions if the victim is not breathing or only gasping. Place the heel of your hand on the center of the victim's chest and interlock your other hand on top. Push hard and fast in the middle of the chest at a rate of about 100-120 compressions per minute.
07
If you are trained in CPR, provide rescue breaths after every 30 compressions. Open the victim's airway again, pinch their nose, and give two breaths, watching for chest rise with each breath.
08
Continue the cycle of chest compressions and rescue breaths until help arrives or the victim shows signs of life.
