How to fill out cpr aed first aid

How to fill out CPR AED first aid:

01
Begin by assessing the situation: Before administering CPR AED first aid, ensure that the scene is safe for both the victim and yourself. Assess the victim's consciousness and call for emergency medical assistance if needed.
02
Activate emergency response: If the victim is unresponsive, shout for help and instruct someone to call 911 or your local emergency number. If you are alone, call for help yourself before proceeding with CPR AED.
03
Start CPR: Position the victim on a firm surface, such as the ground, and kneel beside them. Place the heel of your hand on the center of their chest, slightly above the lower half of the sternum. With your other hand on top, interlace your fingers, keeping them off the victim's chest. Begin chest compressions, using your body weight to push down approximately 2 inches deep at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute. Allow the chest to fully recoil between compressions.
04
Provide rescue breaths: After 30 compressions, open the victim's airway by performing a head tilt-chin lift maneuver. Pinch their nose closed and create a seal over their mouth with your own mouth. Give two slow breaths, each lasting about one second, while watching for the chest to rise. If the breaths do not go in, reposition the head and try again. Do this twice, and then resume chest compressions.
05
Use an AED if available: If an automated external defibrillator (AED) is nearby, turn it on and follow the voice prompts. Attach the adhesive pads to the victim's bare chest as shown in the diagram on the device. Follow the instructions for delivering a shock if advised by the AED. After each shock, resume CPR immediately.
06
Continue CPR until help arrives: Maintain the cycle of 30 chest compressions followed by 2 rescue breaths until emergency medical personnel take over or the victim shows signs of life.
