How to fill out first aid and cpr

How to fill out first aid and CPR:
01
Start by ensuring your own safety. Before providing any first aid or CPR, make sure the scene is safe for both you and the victim. Look out for any potential hazards or dangers.
02
Check for responsiveness. Determine if the person is conscious or unconscious. Gently tap the person and ask if they are okay. If they do not respond, it is important to act quickly.
03
Call for help. If there is someone nearby, ask them to call emergency services. If you are alone, call emergency services yourself or instruct someone else to do so.
04
Open the airway. Carefully tilt the person's head back and lift their chin to open their airway. This helps to clear any potential obstructions and allows for effective breathing.
05
Check for breathing. Look, listen, and feel for any signs of breathing. Watch for chest rise and fall, listen for breath sounds, and feel for any exhaled air. If the person is not breathing or only gasping, you will need to initiate CPR.
06
Start chest compressions. Position yourself beside the person and place the heel of one hand on the center of their chest, between the nipples. Place your other hand on top of the first hand and interlock your fingers. Push hard and fast in the center of the chest, aiming for a depth of at least 2 inches. Perform chest compressions at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute.
07
Provide rescue breaths. After each set of 30 chest compressions, give two rescue breaths. Ensure the person's airway remains open by tilting their head back and lifting their chin. Pinch their nose closed and create a seal with your mouth over theirs. Deliver a breath that lasts about one second and causes the chest to rise. Repeat this process until help arrives or the person shows signs of recovery.

02
Parents and caregivers should have knowledge of first aid and CPR, as they are often responsible for the care and wellbeing of children. Knowing how to respond in case of choking, accidents, or sudden illnesses can help prevent further harm and provide immediate assistance.
03
Healthcare professionals and those working in high-risk environments, such as construction sites or industrial settings, are often required to have CPR and first aid training due to the nature of their work.
04
School teachers and administrators should also be trained in first aid and CPR, as they are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of their students.
05
