Age doesn't matter. What matters is their ability to swim. If they are great swimmers and have no issues with taking in water or coming up for air when needed (normal swimming skills) then they should be fine. If they still need a floatie or aren't strong swimmers then there needs to be some supervision.
There's no age limit for learning to swim! People of all ages can learn to swim effectively. While younger individuals may pick up skills more quickly due to flexibility and adaptability, adults and seniors can also learn swimming techniques with practice and the right instruction.
