There are six levels of tournaments on the ITF Junior Circuit. At the top are Grade A (Super series) tournaments, which include the four Grand Slams, followed by Grades 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, where Grade 5 is the lowest grade.

The ITF junior circuit is the premier level for worldwide competition among under-18 junior tennis players, organized by the International Tennis Federation. Founded in 1977 with only nine tournaments, the 2011 ITF Junior Circuit offered over 350 tournaments in 118 countries.
The winter events take place between 1 September-31 March across the country. Alternatively, why not go head-to-head with teams from your region and across the country with one of the biggest youth team tennis competitions in Britain – the Youth & National League.
In order to obtain a USTA ranking one must play and win matches in sanctioned USTA singles and doubles tournaments. USTA tournaments consist of Levels 1-7, 1 being the strongest and 7 being entry level tournaments. 100% of the singles ranking points from a players' 6 best Junior Ranking Tournaments.
The tour is divided into three age groups; 16 & Under, 14 & Under and 12 & Under. In 2024, these three categories combined for a total of some 517 individual tournaments, staged across almost all 48 actiive member nations of Tennis Europe.
The four Grand Slam tournaments are the Australian Open in January, the French Open from late May to early June, Wimbledon in late June to early July, and the US Open in late August to early September, with each played over two weeks.
