How to fill out basic cpr first aid

How to fill out basic CPR first aid:
01
Assess the situation: Before initiating CPR, carefully evaluate the surroundings or scene to ensure it is safe for both you and the victim. Look for any potential hazards or dangers that may need to be addressed before starting CPR.
02
Check for responsiveness: Tap the victim gently and ask if they are okay. If there is no response, shout for help and begin the CPR process.
03
Call emergency services: If there is no one around to assist you, call emergency services immediately before proceeding further. If someone is available, ask them to make the call while you start CPR.
04
Open the airway: Gently tilt the victim's head back, ensuring their chin is lifted forward. This helps open their airway and allows for easy passage of air during rescue breaths.
05
Check for breathing: Look, listen, and feel for any signs of breathing. Place your ear close to the victim's mouth, look for chest movements, and feel for air on your cheek. If there is no breathing or only gasps, it is necessary to initiate rescue breaths.
06
Begin chest compressions: Position yourself near the victim's chest and place the heel of one hand in the center of their chest, between the nipples. Make sure to interlock your fingers and keep your arms straight. With your shoulders directly above your hands, start compressions by pushing hard and fast. Provide 30 chest compressions at a rate of approximately 100-120 compressions per minute.
07
Deliver rescue breaths: After performing the initial 30 chest compressions, give two rescue breaths. Pinch the victim's nose shut, create a proper seal around their mouth, and blow firmly until you see their chest rise. Each breath should last about one second.
08
Continue CPR cycles: Continue to perform cycles of 30 chest compressions followed by two rescue breaths until help arrives or the victim shows signs of responsiveness or begins to breathe on their own.
