On April 15, 2022, support for prior generations of My Cloud OS, including My Cloud OS 3, ended.
Click Settings. Click Utilities. Click Factory Restore. Quick Factory Restore: deletes all the data on the drive.
Connect the My Book Live to the computer and power on. Turn off WiFi on the computer. Insert one end of the cable into the network port of a My Book Live. Insert the other end of the cable into the network port of a computer. Power On or Reboot the computer. Log In as Admin user. Power On the My Book Live.
My Book Live Western Digital Product Support. Support for this product has ended and is no longer available per WD Product Software Support Status.
The WD Backup software will no longer available for download, and technical support will no longer be provided effective August 22, 2022. You can continue to use your product and the application, but no software updates will be provided in the future. Need more help?
