Cut the Ethernet cable to the desired length, ensuring it’s clean and straight.

The order for T-568B is: White/Orange, Orange, White/Green, Blue, White/Blue, Green, White/Brown, Brown.

Trim the wires to ensure they are even and about 1/2 inch long.

Insert the wires into the RJ45 connector, making sure they go all the way in.

Do you use A or B for cat6?
Both standards are perfectly acceptable, but it's important to be consistent throughout your network. If you choose T568A for one end of the cable, the other end should also follow the T568A standard. The same goes for T568B.
What is T568B used for?

Should I use T568A or B?

Should I use cat 5 a or b?
Both will work fine in most environments. Though T568B may work better in an electromagnetically noisy environment. Improved isolation may also allow the cable to work better beyond the spec. Using CAT5e for short run of 10 gig maybe T568B will work for that a few meters farther than T568A.
