How to fill out cpr first aid swimming

How to fill out cpr first aid swimming:

01
Start by gathering all the necessary materials for administering CPR and first aid while swimming, such as a first aid kit, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and rescue equipment such as rescue tubes or life jackets.
02
Assess the situation and ensure your own safety before attempting any rescue or providing any aid. It is essential to be a confident swimmer yourself and to use proper safety precautions to avoid putting yourself at risk.
03
Call for help or ask someone nearby to call emergency services while you assess the victim. Time is crucial in a drowning or near-drowning situation, so prompt action is necessary.
04
Reach the victim using the appropriate rescue equipment. If the victim is close to the shore or edge of the pool, carefully extend a rescue tube or reach out with a long object to pull them to safety. If the victim is farther away, use a life jacket or floatation device to swim out to them.
05
Once the victim is safely out of the water, check for responsiveness. Tap the victim's shoulders and ask if they are okay. If there is no response, the victim may be unconscious and in need of CPR.
06
Begin CPR if necessary. Ensure the victim is lying on a flat surface, ideally on their back. Start with chest compressions by placing the heel of one hand on the center of the victim's chest, slightly above the lower half of the sternum. Interlock your fingers and position yourself directly over the victim's chest, using your upper body strength to deliver quick compressions at a rate of about 100-120 per minute.
07
Provide rescue breaths by tilting the victim's head back slightly, pinching their nose closed, and using your mouth to form a seal over their mouth. Give two breaths that make the chest visibly rise, and then continue with chest compressions.
08
If an AED is available, quickly attach it to the victim's chest according to the device's instructions. Follow the prompts and deliver a shock if advised by the AED.
09
Continue CPR and follow the instructions of emergency services or medical personnel once they arrive.
