9. Show experience in camping by doing the following: (a) Camp for at least 20 nights at designated Scouting activities or events. One long-term camping experience of up to six consecutive nights may be applied toward this requirement.

A poncho or a rain parka can protect you from light showers and heavy storms. Trail Food. Flashlight. Extra Clothing. First-Aid Kit. Sun Protection. Map and Compass.
In summer, you may want to take shorts, sunglasses, baseball cap, sun hat and sunscreen. In winter, you may want to take a warm coat, thermal base layers, hat and gloves. You may want to pack specific sport equipment, such as football boots and shin pads or walking poles, depending on the activities you'll be doing.
