I what#39’s up YouTube#39’s most electronics here today IN#39’m going to be doing another episode of simple circuits for you guys, so I have gone off my last video here#39’s a dip switch a lot of people are always asking about a dip switch and I think their#39’s a lot of curiosity about dip switches how they work out on my first kit came wit hone of this nerd kit I didn't#39’t really know too much about it until I know test it out on a board, and it seemed to be pretty cool so yeah IN#39’m going to show you guys what it is yeah it#39’s a pretty rudimentary switch it#39’s really, really easy to get so um for this little circuit you#39’re going to need um dip switch uh and the reason why it#39’s called the dip switches because it#39’s a dip package dual inline package, so it can fit on a breadboard in between those the spacing like that which is standardized space I do believe and tethered#39’s a and then you#39’re also going toned two LEDs IN#39’m using green LEDs for this three millimeter LEDs and tenuous#39’re also going to need two 220 ohm resistors this whole product or this circuit is just to test out the dip switch so the first thing you want to do uh put the dip switch on the board sorry it seated on the board good make sure your connections are good on the breadboard if you bought a brand-new one then it#39’s fine the next thing you want to do is um put your 220 ohm resistor on let#39’s say we#39’ll do this on a7 so put it on 7 and put it in the positive terminal like so and then doth same for this one sorry I can#39;really get another side let#39’s see this one for 6 oh yeah yeah let#39’s just let#39;SDO it for 1 so let#39’s do that and then uh wire up your LEDs if these are going that#39’s going to positive then you want negative you want the LED going into the negative valid so there you go just godlike that there we go and up sees it#39’s not good to let me reverse this for you guys my breadboard was not all right there we goo yeah their#39’s you dip switch right there so it#39’s all connections look good turn it on now where#39’s that pen that Know here we go so all the dip switches is you uh I turn that on like that and then you it#39’s just a selector switch and there we go so that#39’s all it is uh and then this is two LEDs you can do seven on this one but um yeah, so you know this could be used as a bus select light select I guess various inputs IN#39’ve seen this on garage door openers attorneys offer you guys cars door openers are inputting um hex codes into garage doors you can, you know get the code for your garage doorum so yeah that#39’s about it, I hope you guys enjoy this and uh thanks for watching rate comment subscribe
