This place is really cool! There are a large number of buildings with a guide (included with entry fee) that gives you the history of many of them. You can also walk through many allowing for a much better experience than just looking through windows. Most of the buildings are located along a boardwalk.
Bannack continued as a mining town, though with a dwindling population. The last residents left in the 1970s.
