How to fill out aha advanced cardiac life?

01
Check for responsiveness: Before initiating any CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) procedures, check if the person is responsive by tapping their shoulders and asking if they are okay.
02
Call for help: If the person is unresponsive and not breathing normally, immediately call for emergency medical assistance or ask someone nearby to call for help.
03
Begin chest compressions: Position the person on their back on a firm surface. Place the heel of your hand on the center of their chest (between the nipples), and place your other hand on top of the first hand. Interlock your fingers. Press down on the chest at least 2 inches deep at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute. Allow the chest to fully recoil between each compression.
04
Deliver rescue breaths: After 30 chest compressions, deliver two rescue breaths. Open the person's airway by tilting their head back and lifting their chin. Pinch their nose shut, seal your mouth over theirs, and give a breath that makes their chest rise. Continue with cycles of 30 chest compressions followed by two breaths.
05
Use an automated external defibrillator (AED): If an AED is available, turn it on and follow the voice prompts. Attach the AED pads to the person's bare chest as instructed and listen for the AED to analyze their heart rhythm. If a shock is advised, make sure nobody is touching the person and deliver the shock by pressing the button as indicated.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a set of clinical interventions for the urgent treatment of cardiac arrest, stroke, and other life-threatening medical emergencies.
Healthcare providers, such as doctors, nurses, and paramedics, who are involved in the management of cardiac arrest and other life-threatening emergencies are required to be certified in ACLS.
To become certified in ACLS, individuals must take a course that covers advanced cardiac life support protocols, including CPR, defibrillation, and medication administration.
The purpose of ACLS is to provide healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills to effectively resuscitate patients in cardiac arrest and other life-threatening situations.
Information reported on ACLS certification includes completion of training courses, demonstration of skills in simulated scenarios, and passing a written exam.
