Swimming clubs emerged with the development of swimming as a competitive sport in the early 1800s in England. By 1880, when the first national governing body, the Amateur Swimming Association, was formed, there were already over 300 regional clubs in operation across England.
Founded in 1973 by Lash Turville, RENO has been the premier swim team in Northern Nevada for 4+ decades. RENO Currently, RENO swimmers have qualified for Olympic Trials, Junior Nationals, Futures, Sectionals, and many of the top age group meets including Far Westerns and Pacific JOs.
Swimming Lessons are available for all ages and skill levels, taught by our passionate instructors! Swim lessons teach aquatic and safety skills in a logical progression.
