Today I want to go over the easy cap video capture device I order this off eBay for $8 and my first initial impression of this device is its shit it's absolute shit let me tell you why first this is a package at mine came in it comes with C here open this up comes with a driver disk and if you look on there it does say it's compatible with Windows 7 64 bit and comes with an instruction booklet, and it comes with this USB extension cable here and basically all that is garbage the drivers don't work directions are useless and this cable is so chintzy that the device doesn't work when it's plugged into this cable it does work when it's plugged directly into the computer and of course that's garbage everything's garbage so here's the device itself now when I first got it I plugged it in actually when I first got it I installed the drivers and then plug this device in and of course Windows doesn't recognize it I tried everything you get the word didn't freaking work, so I went on the hunt for some drivers I eventually found drivers that worked and later on I'll tell you guys where you can get them, and so I got finally got the device work everything worked the video worked audio is working everything was worked great wonderful after about 10 20 minutes the picture freezes up I'm like what the hell is going on here, so I unplugged the damn thing plug it back, and it works for a little while picture freezes up, so I would notice when I was held on to it that it was really hot, so I was like me maybe it's overheating so what I did was I caught a hole in the plastic casing and I installed a small heat sink on there I used a little of thermal paste on the chip and placed the heat sink over the chip and closed the case up and then just kind of keep the heat sink in place I put a little crazy glue down on the side of the heat sink to attach it to the case itself, so it doesn't move tight up against the chip and that has helped immensely, so you can feel when you touch it the heat sink here you can, it's hot it gets hot but at least now the heat has somewhere to go so that definitely helped and let's see what else oh before you do anything to this thing here you're going to want to pop off the casing here take it apart and jot down the number there's a video chip right under here jot down the numbers that are on that chip because you're going to need those later maybe to get the drivers in my case I jotted down the number of that was on the chip I downloaded the corresponding drivers that matched with the numbers that were on my chip and the fucking thing still didn't goddamn work and eventually like I said I did find drivers that worked, and I will tell you guys where to get those so bear with me, I'll be back in a moment here and go over a couple other things alright I'm back and the first thing we're going to do is I'll put this link in the description we're going to go to this site here, and it has multiple drivers for this easy cap card if you scroll...
