How to fill out basic first aid cpr

How to fill out basic first aid CPR:
01
Check for safety: Before attempting CPR, make sure the environment is safe for both you and the victim. Look for any potential hazards that could cause harm.
02
Assess the victim: Determine if the victim is conscious by gently tapping and shouting, "Are you okay?" If there is no response, carefully approach the person and check for breathing. If they are not breathing or only gasping, initiate CPR immediately.
03
Call for help: While starting CPR, ask someone nearby to call emergency services or do it yourself if you are alone. Time is crucial in a cardiac arrest situation, so it is essential to get professional help as soon as possible.
04
Begin chest compressions: Position yourself beside the victim's chest. Place the heel of your hand in the center of their chest, on the lower half of the breastbone. Keep your other hand on top of the first hand, interlocking your fingers. Push hard and fast at a rate of about 100 to 120 compressions per minute, ensuring that each compression is about 2 inches deep. Allow the chest to fully recoil between compressions.
05
Provide rescue breaths: After 30 compressions, gently tilt the victim's head back and lift their chin to open the airway. Pinch the person's nose shut and create a seal over their mouth with yours. Give two rescue breaths, each lasting about 1 second, and watch for the chest to rise. If the breaths do not go in, reposition the victim's head and try again.
06
Continue CPR cycles: Repeat the cycle of 30 chest compressions and 2 rescue breaths until professional help arrives or the victim starts to show signs of recovery. If you are exhausted and cannot continue, switch with another capable person if available.
